I genuinely do not like Amber alert At all cuz it's just built on guilt and pity so much so that its genuinely sad. Bc how is it that the child that you saved likes you, you knew about it and rejected him and only after you see his sh scars you cave and say you “love him” back. Its genuinely just so weird that happens, and I just can't see the hype
Well, I'm not sure you should quote me on that. I thought the same thing at first, to be honest, but there are loads of manhwas with storylines that are even worse than Amber Alert. Besides, the recent chapters don't seem nearly as weird as the earlier ones. I'd actually say it's getting better as it goes along. But that's just my opinion, of course—you're more than welcome to disagree.
Honestly, for me, Amber Alert is pure manipulation from the beginning. This "reciprocity" only started to exist out of guilt and pity, that's all, nothing more. There's no true love in Amber Alert, you can see it was all manipulation. And despite reading and liking it, I almost dropped it out of frustration. How could the author not make Tenesss genuinely fall in love with Ryker and simply forced sex, and then suddenly they were in love when it was all pure manipulation? I honestly hope Ryker never recovers his memories because he was so toxic and manipulative that I felt extremely frustrated that everything was the way he wanted it, when he wanted it. Then he kept cutting himself all the time to play the victim when in reality he was the manipulator ever since he reunited with Tennessee.
