I love how no two authors can agree on how Omegaverse biology actually works 🧬🔬

In ZIG's series, the ability of dominant alphas or dominant omegas to transform betas with their pheromones was the most surprising omegaverse rule for me tbh 🙏🏻

The second funniest thing is how universally no effort goes into describing betas despite them being the majority - the best example of this I saw was an author that gave 7 beautiful pages each to the description of omegas and alphas and then in a single unadorned line said “and the rest” and never even mentioned the word beta 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well, I genuinely loved the way you described it, but, anyway, I can definitely agree with that because I’ve seen it happen so many times before. They just make up new rules as they go along, as if it’s an open plot where you can add whatever the hell you like simply because you can.

And their use of pheromones is pretty bloody wild, but if you tone it down a bit, it actually does make sense, because pheromones are a real thing in many species, and humans do produce chemical cues through body odour too. It’s just that scientists haven’t actually confirmed a specific human pheromone system like the one you see in Omegaverse.

But, anyway, to answer your question, I suppose it came from one of those old, awful art manhwas where pheromones apparently had the ability to choke, poison, or even kill someone just by being inhaled, despite the pheromone scent supposedly being honey and lavender.
