Is there an unwritten rule that Says that you have to like man to read BL?

well, i also feel like there isnt. im not exactly lesbian, but i come here to read bcus im absolutely pissed with the storyline of other smuts where the mc, (usually woman) easily goes along with the nonsense of the other male leads, and they keep acting like they’ll die without their man. here, theres no prob like that. majority have redemption arcs, and theyre both men👍

My opinion and perspective of this question is that a person would need to find interest in it. So they may like BL for the art and story versus actually liking real men. That’s just my thoughts on it.

no there isnt. even married hetero man and women read bl, lesbians, aroace, anyone can read bl. a piece or writing doesnt immediately define your sexuality. its a matter of if a person corelates with the character, like if they have these feelings theyve been denying for same gender or someone, i think thats why people mistake reading bl or gl makes you gay or sum, cause sometimes really great manga makes a person realize something… my opinion tho
