Well, I don’t mean to sound rude, but I don’t really think you should get a pet just to have something to keep you entertained when you’re bored. That said, I do think having a new kitten or puppy could really lift your mood and give you something positive to focus on. So, if you genuinely feel ready for the responsibility and you know you’d be able to take good care of one, then yeah, I’d say it’s definitely something you could consider.
