I am getting so fed up with people who do not like reading sexual, physical, emotional, and mental abuse, but then go on and read a book involving a ton of abuse. They ignore the countless warning and tags about the sensitive content and go on to read said unliked content. Then proceeding to go criticize the book with a one star review, saying OMG there’s grape in this book and I don’t support grape. despite the countless warnings that were supposed to prevent them from reading the content that they do not like. it really is not hard to search up a reading recommendation list for green flags. so please, stop lowering the rating for lowkey good books just because you don’t like a single thing in it that you were already warned about!

Ikr! I swear to god these people read the books, knowing what is inside already!! Ngl I feel like some of them actually generally enjoy what they read but want attention. I didn’t realize how hard it is to read the beginning of the first chapter with the big fat warning sign! I mean I swear if there was a big red sign saying, “DO NOT ENTER, CLIFF AHEAD”, my first reaction is to do anything but go that way. BUT NOoOOoo, some people are just that dumb and would probably keep going until they arrive in heaven. If you can read the comic and understand it then I think u can read a small sentence that talks about what things in the comic may be uncomfortable or triggering to readers!! Lastly if u want to avoid the risk of seeing bananas, melons, buns, or boxes go to an app without any of those or you can filter the bad things. Seems like some of y’all need to go back to preschool!!

I kind feel called out by thus post but in my defense i dont check tags and i dont read or notice the warning before chapters also, im like so desperate for something that, i look at the and go hmm the guys look good, or the cover interesting and thats it. Its definitely on me.

Most times tho the story is just nice, plot is mice you get hooked on the charachter, its seems like eveything is going to and then the author pulls an SA out of nowhere like wth just happened. They i get and im like having it hard coz without SA that would have went well. And im compelled to speak my mind coz i had more expectations on that one.

So imma call it out in comment. Sorry not sorry.

Also i have read like really psycho ones, like the ones thats down right bad, yet i put up with the r@pe, the SA, dubious content and even coercion. I think its more the expectation that make those people do what they do. So i think they including me are entitled to that reaction and express it right there in the comment section it might not be your desired reaction and outcome, but still they are allowed to do that, Let them!!
