Synopsis
Ryu Nanmu is a low-ranking gang member who has hit rock bottom. Years ago, he dreamed of having a quiet, normal family with his mob boss’s mistress and her young son, Hwang Pil-gyun—a child Nanmu helped care for. However, Nanmu was severely punished by the boss for daring to desire that life, leading to years of trauma and ruin.
Fast-forward to the present: Pil-gyun returns as a grown man. No longer the innocent boy Nanmu remembers, Pil-gyun is a calculated, ruthless, and obsessively devoted adult who targets local gang members and wraps himself tightly around Nanmu's life. What follows is a dark, toxic, and intense psychological romance as the two men navigate their twisted past and complex bond.
