Synopsis
Netkama Punch!!! is a popular Korean Boys' Love (BL) web novel and webtoon that follows a gamer named Kim Seyeong seeking revenge on his in-game archnemesis, Shin Heejae. A year after Heejae completely destroyed Seyeong’s gaming career and guild in the MMORPG Arcadia, Seyeong returns to the game under a fresh, secret identity. He decides to become a "netkama"—a man pretending to be a woman online—in order to catfish Heejae, make him fall in love, and ultimately expose him to public humiliation. However, Seyeong's elaborate scheme hits a major snag when his worst enemy begins showing a genuine, intense interest in him, complicating his quest for vengeance with unexpected romance.
Why Should We Pick This Up?
Honestly, the dynamic between these two is absolute gold and the dramatic irony keeps you hooked on every page. It avoids the usual toxic BL traps by focusing on genuinely hilarious MMO guild chaos and two stubborn rivals accidentally falling for each other. The art style is gorgeous and expressive, making it a guaranteed hit for readers who love a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy.
