I'malso wondering this. I think i saw that you can like “petition” to get one unlocked if you get enough likes on it. Idk if that's 100% tho
Well, from what I’ve seen, they don’t necessarily stay locked forever, but they can take an awfully long time to get unlocked. I once came across a completed manhwa that only had 10 chapters, six of which were locked, and the last update had been three months earlier. Fortunately, they did eventually get unlocked in the end.
As for manhwas that are on hiatus or still ongoing, though, you generally don’t have to wait quite as long — at least, not most of the time. Although, when it comes to ones like Passion, Kiss Me if You Can, and Codename Anastasia, which are either on hiatus or have notoriously unpredictable updates, I suppose only God knows when we’ll actually get the next chapter.
You know what some series will unlock over time after 10 days or so 1 chapter at a time get unlock and some of them are completed have last few chapters locked so we have to buy it with coins. And some ongoing which are picking readers interest faster they get locked for quite a lot more days so either we have to wait indefinite time for it or buy it. Hope this help😇
