To be honest, I absolutely loved Geumryang’s friend, Hwansuh, and for now, he’s definitely one of the best characters that comes to mind. He may have come across as a bit mean at times, but he’s actually incredibly gentle and kind-hearted.
That aside, though, I completely agree that they really deserve a bit of cheering up and a lovely bouquet of flowers. Their role goes far beyond that of a friend, therapist, or counsellor, and I think the main characters definitely owe them something in return.
