Why does taking off their glasses magically cure their terrible eyesight? 👓🪄

Well, someone else has already said the choice I had in mind, but I’ll go with Andrew Young again. Although, to be fair, I thought he looked lovely in glasses too.

You know, people with a bit of a nerdy side often wear glasses, partly because they don’t necessarily want to draw too much attention to themselves, even though they might have lovely faces and really beautiful eyes. Or sometimes they simply need glasses and feel more comfortable wearing bigger frames.

Speaking personally, I’ve got three pairs of rather thick-framed, nerdy-looking glasses myself — because I’m an actual nerd — and I just switch between them depending on how I feel.
