After monstrous creatures pour through mysterious gates, only a select few awaken as Espers with extraordinary abilities, while Guides emerge to control and stabilize them. When a terrorist guild threatens society, an S-Class Guide is assigned to an A-Class precognitive Esper. Their first encounter is far from smooth, but as they grow closer, he discovers the pain hidden behind the Esper’s carefree facade and finds himself increasingly drawn to him.
