A low-ranking mercenary with a weakness for alcohol and gambling is assigned to guard an elf imprisoned by a noble. Unable to resist his own desires, he unlocks the cage and lets the elf escape. Pursuing the runaway into an enchanted forest, he encounters another elf who claims to be the fugitive’s fiancé. What follows is a wild encounter that makes a mockery of elven dignity.
